Bought this as a birthday present for our 10 year old granddaughter. She has a lot of fun making friendship bracelets and keychains. It sits well on a flat surface (doesn't slip too much), helps her keep the thread taut, and also helps her hold her in place when she wants to take a break. She felt more comfortable starting with 6 strands instead of 10. The keychains she makes are 30 strands long. So she timed it and it took 1 minute and 10 seconds to do 2 rows (with 6 strands she does 3 colors with 2). rows of each color). So she calculated that it takes 30 to 45 minutes to make a keychain (including breaks lol). 30 rows is also a good size for the friendship bracelets she made for her younger cousins. I'm happy with the quality and she's enjoying it. So this is a keeper and I recommend it.
