This is an amazing product when you know how to use it. First, the dough should be soft (this is a must!). Let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes. The ball of dough should be between a lemon and a tangerine and flattened into a thick flatbread. Food bowls should be hot when you put the batter in them. Squeeze the handle with reasonable force, not too soft and not too hard. Bake the tortillas/roti/chapatis on both the first side (top open) and the second side (top open) and then the first side with the top closed. Your soft flatbread/roti is ready. I've even made stuffed roti that came out perfect. The only downside I felt was the heat. I still need a few high-temperature plates for the roti. Overall an amazing product. Highly recommended.
