First, the base unit itself more or less does its job. However, the included speakers have poor sound quality with very limited volume, not loud enough to drown out road noise, let alone the roar of the engine. To make matters worse, the connector is so poorly designed that it won't make solid contact or latch, regardless of the instructions that come with it. states that the connector must be fully inserted. I have no doubt this will add bad sound/pops and pops. I made sure the device works pretty well even with my limited usage time by plugging in a quality gaming headset with a microphone. It worked reliably with decent volume and sound. Maybe it was a fluke and I just got a bad set of parts, who knows, but I need to do extensive mods to make this work as it should. So far out of the box I'm not impressed. I can't say anything about all the other features, I just haven't had enough time.
