I wanted a minky shawl and this fit the bill. It is soft and has pockets. And, unlike my minky throws, this stays on my shoulders thanks to having sleeves.But, the sleeves, while long, are pretty narrow. saying that others had mentioned this I went ahead and ordered the L/XL. I probably could have ordered a M if I only wore sleeveless tops, but I don't, particularly in the colder weather when I will get the most use out of this.This isn't a flattering cut, but it is so soft that I'd buy another one if there were one in black or a darker color.For now I will hope to find something similar with arms cut less like a sweatshirt and more like a jhuket or robe
