It was even nicer than I thought. It was a rich blue color and all the graphics matched perfectly. And the lid is nice and tight, but not too tight that you can't open it. Some reviewers have pointed out that only small biscuits can be placed inside and the opening is very small. The hole was perfectly fine and the hole is a normal size for the size of a cookie jar. Yes, the cookie jar is smaller, but you can definitely put more cookies in it, you just can't fit that many. It was a gift for a Whovian man who loves oatmeal. I think I could fit 5 or 6 cakes filling it to the brim and these things aren't small. If you are looking for a high quality funny gift buy this one. If you want to fit 3 dozen chocolate chip cookies in it, you can look elsewhere.
