Review on 🔌 OEM Ford Left Hand Side Glow Plug Harness Extension 4C2Z-12A690-BA for Diesel Engines by Billy Danaher

This is OEM; for driver side 6.0L Ford. I used WD40 and a proper horseshoe tool to remove the OE (first). In my case, the tool failed to pull out the socket and destroyed its rear edge, after which the wires started sticking out. Then I took two pieces of wire wrapped around the rest of the socket, one up and one down - it was a hassle but it worked, wobbly when pulled left, right, up, down. Lesson learned - Lubricate the connectors and gently wiggle in all directions. (to loosen the o-ring) and wiggle while holding the tool, others will come out more easily. Removing the glow plugs before removing the heads is important to me because in my case the tips of the glow plugs protrude into the combustion chamber slightly below the surface of the head. If there is slippage when removing the head, I don't want the spark plug tips to touch the cylinder head mating surface. In any case, the new harness is easy to assemble - perfect fit.
