My PS4 randomly loses power after using this power cord. I was in the middle of a game and it was like someone turned it off. Some nights it couldn't be used because it wouldn't even start. I didn't think it could be the power cord and was about to buy a new PS4. As a final step, I used my old Sony power cord. Since then I haven't had a single power outage. I didn't think the power cord would have such an impact, but for me it made a difference. I won't be using the cable again and I hope the hard drive doesn't get damaged from all the power issues and subsequent repairs I've had to do.
