I bought two of these medium sized for my 2.5kg long hair cat after spaying. I worried that the e-collar was too big and heavy for her to eat comfortably and thought she might wriggle out. The suit fully covered her stitches during her recovery, allowed her to eat and drink normally, and allowed normal "access" for her toilet activities. The wide velcro at the back kept her from twisting and it only took her about 20 minutes to get comfortable. I especially love the t-shirt style collar which was stretchy and easy to put on and take off over her head. I work long days and it was great to know that she was safe and comfortable at home while she recovered. I changed the suit every other day for the 8 days she wore it just because it was shedding a lot and was covered in fur on the inside. She might have been a little warm in it, so I turned the air conditioning down a few degrees, but the fabric is no thicker than a t-shirt.
