Works EXACTLY as expected. I connected one end to the handset and the other to the phone - and everything worked "right out of the box". Batteries are not required; Time-consuming settings or registrations on the line are no longer necessary. It couldn't be EASIER (especially with the clear "Plug one end into the handset, the other into the phone" diagram on the back of the box). Worked like a charm when I first installed it; and weeks later still no problems. And yes, the cord was also "Ivory" - just like I ordered it. (This saved me from the fear of ordering an "ivory" cable, but instead maybe getting a "green" or "blue" cable that just wouldn't match the phone. ). I recommend for those who have a handset and phone but need a phone cord as long as you CAN order another. You can "make no mistake" and you will be happy with this cord. Thanks to Revain for reminding me to "evaluate" buying this cable a couple of times. {By the way, the delivery of the supplier is fast, also well packaged}
