I have purchased several Transcend SD and SDHC cards over the years because of their superior quality and durability. Years ago, when I first needed SD cards, I turned to the supposed leader in flash storage technology. My first was a 500MB card for the Konica-Minolta 5MP point and shoot camera and after one use the card broke and became unusable. Thinking it was coincidence I bought another Sandisk SD card, this time a 1GB card and once again after just one use in a Konica Minolta camera the card was defective and unusable. I knew it couldn't be the camera as the 128MB card that came with the camera still worked after I had to fill out all the sandisk crashes. That's when I came across Transcend (around 2006?). I was able to buy bigger cards for less than Sandisk and to this day that first SD card still works in my Konica Minolta camera. I then switched to a DSLR and my latest DSLR is a 16MP camera that also shoots 1080p video so I need SDHC cards. I also use them in my ASUS Transformer 10.1 tablet, microSD in the tablet itself and SDHC in the detachable keyboard. To date I have had no failures with the Transcend flash drive and I have 4 32GB, 1 16GB, 1 4GB and 3 2GB. I also just received another 2GB card for my Konica Minolta before they are no longer available.
