My experience with these industrial tape organizers is that if you attach them to a smooth, non-porous surface - preferably tile, sealed stone or tempered glass, they will last for years. Can they be attached to drywall? ? Yes, but depending on how much weight you want to put on it? I would recommend against it. Drywall is only covered with a paper surface, which is then covered with paint. If you don't use dowels with dowels, stretch the paper cover. and how did one person in these reviews figure that out? The device ripped her face off the wall. Drywall is not designed for this type of load capacity. Another review suggests it isn't sticky, but you can clearly see in the review photos that the surface is textured rather than smooth. So you don't have complete adhesion of the surfaces. If you screw it up bad? There are TWO sticky mounts in case you need to remove the first one. Do not attempt to reuse it as it is unlikely to retain full adhesion. People? Follow the instructions and install it on the recommended surfaces and everything will work fine. And remember. measure 3 times. Mount once. Don't guess.
