I have used brackets on the sides to mount them on top of my Toyota Sequoia front and rear and they are well made and the brackets allow you to make angles so you can get a good direction car window. They are really very bright day and night. Definitive! The metal body is solid and not as poorly made as most I've used. The cigarette lighter adapter I would have liked was a different type that made a tighter contact, but I found a good 3-port cigarette lighter adapter that held it tighter and the plug was deeper. The modes are useful and the last mode save function works well so it's ultimately a killer bar so I bought one each for the front and rear when towing trailers. Buy it, you'll love it, but don't rely on window suction cups, they won't hold unless you stick them on. Rschunimagu
