Review on πŸ”Œ Dorman 917-033 Ignition Knock Sensor Connector for Select Models - Enhanced Performance & Durability in Sleek Black Design by Jason Carranza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They work, they're inexpensive, and I've saved a lot of money.

Summary speaks for itself. My 03 Silverado 1500 gave knock sensor codes. Pulled out the old ones and found that one was just completely mangled. After cleaning the area, removing the old ones and installing the new ones, I followed the TSB and applied some RTV sealer to create a 'dam' around the new sensors and used it to seal the old wiring harness substitute. Apparently, this is a common problem that allows water to get into the area and rot. I have a few other seals and things to attend to while I was there and no more codes now.
