Not as stated, darker than halogen, less power, strong radio interference

Installed on a 2011 Subaru Outback, each lamp took about 40 minutes to install, mainly because Subaru makes access difficult. I tested the lamps on a laboratory bench for about 5 hours before installing them. Here are some infrared images after approx. 2 hours outdoors at a room temperature of 20°C. Definitely not as hot as halogen, but it's important as 142C is slightly higher for long-term reliability of LEDs. The lamps did not draw the nominal 20 watts as stated. One lamp consumed 15.4 watts and the other 18.2 watts. Pretty far apart and definitely not to the full capacity that the description says. Routine control of these lights causes severe RF interference. My tire pressure sensors are going crazy and I can hear noises on the radio. The seller claims they can send something to help, but that really should be included in every set. The brightness of the light is disappointing. Slightly brighter than standard halogen bulbs. Color rendering index (CRI) is terrible but to be expected. Works relatively well in my Subaru's low beam projection housing. The ability to adjust the alignment of the dark line was a beautiful and smart design. See pictures before and after installation. Overall they are not bad for their price. I'll see if the manufacturer sends me a radio interference suppression filter. If it works, I can keep her. However, you can achieve better brightness and color rendering with standard halogen lamps. The lifespan is unknown as I only installed it for a week.
