I don't know if the blanket works because I didn't have a fire to use it. It looks well made and if it works as advertised it's a bonus. The one I tested was of good quality. Folding it up to fit in the suitcase wasn't a big deal, but I don't recommend doing it too often. Don't hang it on the wall in the kitchen like the photo, it's not a decoration. One advert showed a blanket hanging behind a stove, where you had to crawl through the fire to get it. What do you think about security? I've placed two in the pantry and two in the hall closet so everyone knows where they are, but you can't see them.
