I love the idea of these oatmeal. It should be the best in terms of warmth. A few things that keep this product from being 5 star: 1) The face hole is a bit larger than it looks. It lets in too much air for our 6 month old baby. She definitely needs a hat to get in (maybe a scarf, but I don't think it's very safe). It doesn't sit well on the head. 2) It is designed to adjust according to your kid's height, but I think it actually fits kids over 1 year old better. The face hole is so big it's hard to tell how much air it lets into the rest of the oatmeal. It doesn't hold up very well either. There are straps that hold the bottom 2/3 of the oatmeal in place, but the top 1/3 is loose. I've seen other moms just pull the hat back and twist it around the back of the stroller. I thought it would be tighter, like a 7 o'clock car seat cocoon, but it's a lot looser.
