The mandrel is flat where the numbers are so it's terrible for reshaping/wrapping. Also, the sound of the metal wrapping around that metal rod is like a nail hitting a board. In addition, the grooves are so thin and shallow that nothing fits into them; Difficult to "fix" the wire to the desired size.
