Not as good as I hoped

I've been making almond milk every other day for a year. This is a lengthy process, but it is very necessary due to problems with the gastrointestinal tract. Based on the amount of time I spend milking almonds each week, I wanted to find something less messy and quicker than the nut milk bags I used to strain my milk. Milk cartons seemed to be the product. I finally ordered it and was surprised that it was as small as when it arrived. Obviously it was designed with packaging and shipping in mind as the handle is separate and requires assembly. It's easy to make but feels a bit flimsy, although due to the small size of the jar it holds up great. The screen makes a robust impression and has held up so far. The pusher is much smaller than I thought and not very ergonomic. After a while my hands cramp as I try to squeeze the milk from the pulp through the wire mesh. Which brings me to my main issues with the device: it's no faster than using bags, it's labor intensive and time consuming, and it produces less milk. than a packet of nut milks, averaging about 4 ounces less. One day after I got tired of fiddling with the pulp for 40 minutes! My wife took control and managed to get another 4 ounces over the next 20 minutes. The pusher is too small and it just takes time. It might be a little less messy than bags, but definitely not faster, and if you try to rush it gets a lot messier with little improvement in results.
