I bought this 3 monitor splitter for a portable VJ setup. I've used it twice. It worked fine the first time, but it took a few power cycles for the monitors to sync properly. The second time, one of the monitors turned on for a split second and everything stopped working. I'm not sure what happened, but all the monitors are completely dead. One of them won't turn on and the other two have broken HDMI connectors; VGA connections work perfectly. Worst of all, it happened in the middle of a VJ performance. Luckily we had access to a big screen TV which allowed us to finish the show without having to abandon it. Stay away from these splitters if you value your electronics. they are garbage! I learned it the hard way.
