Review on Checkered Multi Squares Bright Colors by Stephanie Johnson

Not what I expected

I've never spent so much money on a kitchen towel! But I was really intrigued by the fun fractal design. Judging by the photo, I came to the conclusion that it was a terry towel with a pattern on both sides. I received a white terry towel on the back and microfiber on the front, with a flat design on one side. It is moderately attractive but the colors would be much brighter if fully woven. Also keep in mind that a standard kitchen towel is 16" x 26" and this one is only 15" x 22". It may not seem like much, but you can see the difference when folded or hung on a towel rail. I'm concerned if the printed color of the towel will fade after a few washes and how dirty the white terry side will be. It's a decent absorbent kitchen towel, albeit a smaller one, and it gets the job done. But the reason I paid triple what I normally pay was because I thought the towel was exceptionally beautiful. Unfortunately everything is fine. EDIT: After two weeks of use, I'm reporting back to give this towel another star. I bought it for its looks and it disappointed me. But I have to admit that this is the softest and most absorbent kitchen towel I have. Despite being small, it quickly became my favorite. I still think it's too expensive, but maybe I'll buy another one.
