I have only used for just over a week, so I don't speak definitively about heat resistance and durability, or even ease of cleaning spills that would be expected to stain. This heavy duty tablecloth is wonderful. It covered my table with 2 leaves in it well enough that I put my cotton tablecloth over it. No worries about spills and the flannel backing prevents scrapes from dishes. This is not an oilcloth or the vinyl tablecloth you would see in the stores. It is professional grade at a great price.

While I can attest to the thickness and quality of this table pad (all wonderful) I had to return. The main purpose of buying this was because I thought it might help to stop my table cloth from slipping around. It didn't help with that at all. However, if you're not buying this for that purpose it is an excellent table pad.

This seems to be a good quality pad so far. It's a good thickness, but unlike some covers we've owned that are too stiff, this one is soft and supple so it lays over the edge of the table nicely. It's just the right size for a 48" round table.

Placed on table for upcoming Thanksgiving dinner. After unfolded from package the "Pad" is wrinkled, creating an undulating surface when the table cloth is placed on top. Used a steam iron to removed wrinkles while the table cloth, also new, was on top. The wrinkles seemed to become less noticeable.

Perfect size for the table. My granddaughter wasted red juice on the table cloth and had no problems cleaning it up; it was so easy to wipe off.

I'm satisfied with the size, thickness and style of this product but believe it's faulty. I laid it out on a bed for over 3 days to allow the folds from the package to relax. They have mostly relaxed but there are strange bubbles in the product on the vinyl side. There is also some dirt or discolored fabric in the felted pad. The product arrived quickly and on the date promised. It seems to be good quality. I haven't used it yet but plan to for Thanksgiving so I cannot say whether it is heat resistant. It is slightly creased from being folded but I'm hoping that the creases can be ironed out using a slightly warm iron.

I am very happy with this table protector. It lays nicely on the table and doesn't move. I didn't cut it, I like it better this way. Wipes easily. Don't put it in the laundry, you will ruin it.

I have several of these table protectors they're that good, one for every size of table. Whether I roll or fold it always lies flat. If you drop a ton of bricks, you'll have a problem but your usual glass of wine, knife or fork is never an issue. Product is exactly what I wanted. Perfect size. When I put my tablecloth on, there were no bumps or heavy creases. My table is 90X42, so I ordered the 90X 52 and it worked out great. Didn’t have to cut since my tablecloth laid nice and flat. I don’t think I needed the thicker one. This one does the trick.

I needed a pad to stop the tablecloth from slipping, stop the cats from scratching the table surface and provide heat protection. This does it all at very very reasonable cost.

It was easy to cut to fit my oblong table. Made a newspaper template. Seems like it will protect it from hot plates. It did have a crease that the dryer did not get rid of. I put a book on it and now it is flat. Hsd some weight to it so probably thicker than the cheap ones. Hard to keep the dinners warm unless you heat up the plates. I will just leave it on the table but would never fold it to store.

This is my third table protector of this kind. My first one lasted me about 17 years but looked terrible. Then I bought one from a local store that got two small tears in it within a month of having it on my dining room table. worked for what I needed in a pinch but after reading other reviews didn't put in the dryer but did take a blow dryer to it and put very heavy books and object on top while it was still hot to help with creases. Didn't come completely out but was better than before.

Wish I would have bought a month ago! I bought a new table and have kept it covered with a tablecloth but it still has 2 small scratches. I didn't realize they made covers like this. It's perfect. It's just the right thickness to protect the table and fits under my tablecloth. Thank you so much!

It doesn't shift out of place and sufficiently heavy to protect my dining table finish from cat scratches. That's my feedback!

Nice and durable, but can not get stains out. My children got paint and marker on this and I’ve been unable to remove the stains. It doesn’t really matter because it’s usually covered but it still bugs me a little.
