We love our table protector. It's flannel on one side and plastic on the other. The flannel protects table from scratches and the plastic protects the table from spills. We still use trivets for hot dishes. Our table has a leaf that is stored under the table. I ordered the proctor to fit the table when it's opened to full size. I wish it stayed in place. We have a long table that seats 10. It moves around too much. One side will be longer. Would be nice if it had some kind of backing that would allow it to stay in place. Easy to clean.

Ordered this table pad with flannel backing mainly because of the words "HEAVY DUTY" repeated again and again in the description. To me, that meant the thickness of the flannel would be substantial also. It's very thin. I am concerned that my table will take some hits through this table cloth. After wrestling with a number of inexpensive trimmable table pads, that always were full of lumps and bumps that wouldn't smooth down under my tablecloth, I tried this one. Big improvement. Laid nice & flat compared to the others. So I'm happy with the purchase so far. Hoping that will still be true after storing it folded.

I moved, and I left my old table pad behind. For a year I improvised with a quilted mattress pad. I ordered a 52 x 90" flannel back pad from YOURTABLECLOTH for Thanksgiving dinner, and it is perfect. It overhangs my 36 X 72 table, but drapes nicely under a tablecloth. It is soft and durable. I did not cut it to size. Thank you for your great product.

We should have ordered this a long time ago! It fit our long dining table perfectly, because really who comes over for dinner now, that makes it formal? The padding on this makes it perfect! Reasonable priced. This table cover is still there on our long dining room table. We can lay electronics, little things; it's perfect for card games, and puzzles! Order one! I purchased this pad because it was noted as being heavier than others available. This one is heavier than the one it is replacing. I use it daily under a tablecloth and it is fine. One thing I did right away was leave it on the table for a few days to relax the folds from shipping. My tablecloths are textured and I've had no issues with the folds of the pads telegraphing through the tablecloth.

We have mischievous cats who were always pulling the table cloth off the table. This is a great solution to protect the table

Just received item, so still too early for a complete review. However, I've purchased this type of item before, and it has been just fine for the purpose intended. Seems it will again serve the need I have to continue to protect dining room table converted to desk space.

I bought this table cloth to use when my grandchildren come over. I used it under a table cloth for the protection of my table. It did have a funny smell when I took it out of the package so I put it on the table and opened the windows for an hour to air it out. After I put the over cloth on the smell went away and it was perfect. I have been looking for a long time for a table cloth like this. So happy.

This is a slightly padded and water resistant pad that is similar to what my mother calls a silence cloth. May cause static build-up!

The thick, padded tablecloth is exactly what I was hoping for. I put it on my formal dining room table to protect it while we use it as our temporary food preparation area while our kitchen is being remodeled. It protects the table from spills, hot items, and scratches. I will continue to use it as a padding beneath my tablecloths when the table is no longer our temporary kitchen.

I am very pleased with this table pad. Actually purchased two sizes, intending to send one back if creases didn’t soften. I put the pad in the dryer on low heat for 1-2 minutes with a wet towel. The pad warmed up and the creases definitely softened to the point they didn’t show bad under my polyester tablecloth. I trimmed the pad with scissors leaving a 2 inch overhang. I’m satisfied with the thickness and am keeping both.

I have cats that climb on the table sometimes in the night and disrupt everything by getting the tablecloth to slide -- and if you don't put the tablecloth on they can scratch the table. The pad stays where I put it and keeps tablecloths from sliding so it does a much better job of protecting the table than a tablecloth alone. I believe the surface of the pad could be damaged by putting a too-hot pan on it -- but anything that hot would have damaged the table so I wouldn't think of this as a…
