I was intrigued by the gold serum and decided I had nothing to lose at the price. I didn't see the ingredient list until I received the package and was pleasantly surprised! There are additional "assets" that are not advertised on Revain. I just ordered another one as I have a feeling the price should go up soon lol! I wonder why this company isn't promoting these extra goodies! It contains both Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, which are amazing peptides touted as an "alternative to Botox." It also contains centella asiatica and xylitol. As great as this serum is, I think it's important to know before you buy that it doesn't contain any oil or perfume as advertised. It contains hydrogenated castor oil and the "fragrance" listed in the last 3 ingredients. This isn't a problem for me as long as they're at the bottom of the ingredient list, so I'll continue to use them. I use another vitamin C serum that I'm happy with, so I didn't get it due to vitamin C benefits. I'm not a chemistry expert, but I don't see any form of vitamin C listed. See the attached photo to verify this. I will update this review if anything strange happens after prolonged use. So far it has been very moisturizing, spreads well and fits perfectly under my make-up. All of this for less than $5! I really can't believe it 🤗 Just be aware that if you're getting this serum because of the vitamin C advertised, or because you want an oil-free or fragrance-free serum, it may not be what you're looking for.
