Don't think they're surgical steel. they're tarnishing.
I must say these belly rings are gorgeous, and haven't had any problems so far. However they appear to be tarnishing a bit which is odd considering they're "surgical steel". I have had surg. Steel rings in the past with absolutely 0 tarnishing anywhere or issues, and I've been wearing the opal ring from this set (which is beautiful I must add!) And the silver appears to be tarnishing a bit. But, for the price, you can't go wrong with this set. Just wish it doesn't tarnish anymore! I'd definitely buy these again!
