This really is the best alternative to the factory speakers in my 2008 GS350. Clearer sound and improved bass thanks to the larger magnet. There is also no loss of volume. The high-frequency cutout (choke) installed on the woofers is not visible, its purpose is to remove high frequencies so that you get better bass. I decided to leave them installed for now. I put woofers in the front doors but no tweeters at all. The factory Lexus tweeters in my GS outperform 98% of the car tweeters on the market. I'm also looking forward to replacing the rear speakers.
