More scholarly than it looks
The stool was fairly easy to put together. The legs bolt on without any special tools, so you can assemble them in 3 minutes. The angle of the legs is SUPER weird, I know it doesn't feel right, but just screw it in further and you'll be fine. To be honest I stopped building several times because I thought I was doing it wrong. I could stand and sit on the stool with no problems. Can carry at least 160 pounds. The shape is quite cute and good for accents in the room.
