Review on 🏒 Honeywell 470-659: Portable Indoor Evaporative Cooler with Remote Control - CL201AEW (White) by Sameer Hilton

These coolers work well and we really like them. We can buy several for ours.

I rarely write reviews. We bought two of these for our home in Flagstaff, Arizona. I also bought a thermometer probe. Humidity in Flagstaff is very low - often below 10% and rarely above 50%. We don't have air conditioning and at 17 I rarely get bored. Based on the predictions of the temperature on the street in the range of 90-92, I ordered two such units. We've been using XXit of this for the past week. The temperature outside the cooler is about 71, outside 92. If you put ice on it, the temperature will drop a few degrees, but this is very temporary. At full air and water speed, it takes 4 hours. If you reduce water consumption to 2/3, the temperature will not drop at all and will last 6-7 hours. We bought an antibacterial solution that we use 1 time a day. The moisturizing effect is an added bonus. These coolers work great and we really like them. We can buy some for our home in Phoenix to supplement the air conditioning. But for RV's, toy vans and trainers I can't see why you wouldn't use them in the arid Southwest. There are two downsides: they're as noisy as a window or RV air conditioner, and we use and love them so much we fill them up twice a day. So buy a 2 gallon bucket to fill a 4 gallon tank.
