Don't believe the negative reviews! This is an excellent laptop. The best thing about this laptop is the screen, not the weight. The Qled screen is the absolute best LCD screen on the market with superior brightness, saturation and color accuracy. The 13.3 inch Full HD screen is just beautiful and I think they put an anti-glare coating on the glass screen. So although the screen is glossy, the refraction is very weak. Ion is the only model with such an anti-reflective coating. It's very similar to the MacBook Pro's 13-inch screen, but not as high-resolution. In other words, if you don't have an OLED panel, you won't find a nicer screen on any other laptop! The performance of this device is actually very good, but I really think they could use AMD Ryzen processors with much better results. The i7 used in this laptop is fast, but not on the newer 10nm architecture, which I would prefer. I would also prefer 12GB of RAM as the base for all models. All of this said very quickly for what it is. My complaints are more about checking the future. For what I use, this laptop is very fast. Now about the build quality and other characteristics. The build and design of this laptop is one of my favorites of 2020. It has a great industrial design and minimal bezels. Fit and finish are very good, but not perfect. The silver surface resists fingerprints very well. The keyboard is great. The glass trackpad is also excellent and can charge your phone! The battery life is also very good. Samsung's claims are exaggerated, as are all laptop battery life claims, but I can say that for an ultraportable battery, 69 watt hours is a lot and will last you all day. That is, with high screen brightness and high processor performance. The speakers on this laptop are great, very loud and have good bass. You have to update driver updates in Samsung and then adjust the settings in the Realtek audio console, but once you do that the sound is amazing. I look at how small this thing is and how it sounds and I'm impressed. In summary, this is one of my favorite laptops. It's not a speed demon but it can handle itself, it's very light and portable with a great battery life. It does everything I need and has a decent selection of ports, including a Thunderbolt 3 port. The fit, finish, and design are all great. I really like the magnesium case. It has some flex here and there because it doesn't use a thick piece of aluminum, but rather a thinner, stronger piece of magnesium. I would just say that you should look for sales. The full retail price is too high in my opinion, but the retail price is good considering the features you can only get with this laptop and the competition in the same price range. Samsung has done a really good job with its offerings this year. I'm very excited to see what's next. Just add more RAM next time!
