After receiving this blanket I washed it, put it in the dryer and pulled it out noticing that there were balls of the blanket material left on the surface along the edges. When I checked the dryer filter, it was clogged with these little balls of wool. It will take more time to remove than a blanket costs. Update 09/12/2020: The above rating is still valid, but after removing the excess fabric balls and washing it four times, the duvet is great. I don't know if others want to remove the excess material and wash it three or four times, but if you can take it, the quilt is a forge, large and luxurious.
