I have to take the phone out of the case

I bought this for the guest room hoping it would be compatible with a variety of phones. Just tried it on my XR to check. You must take your iPhone out of the case in order for it to charge. It's nice, but I'll probably look for another one that's compatible with Android and iPhone.
