a random device that snuck through every QC they can do with it. no I get no sound from it. The ability to force 480p seemed good, but not when I lose audio. I tried 720p and there was still no sound. I tried two different HDMI cables (one came with another similar AV HDMI device) and still nothing. I double checked my AV cable - still no problem with my cables. This thing just doesn't transmit sound.
