I had a little trouble at first because I didn't use enough liquid spray. The next morning it was very sticky. However, I reconnected to the network and watched the video again, used the spray as shown in the video and to my surprise applied the screen protector effortlessly. So the key was to use enough liquid spray. The next day the screen protector was dry and fairly smooth. Only a few small bubbles remain. I can live with it. The video is key and the included liquid spray is also key to applying the screen correctly and without bubbles. My recommendation is to watch the video and don't be afraid to use enough of the spray that comes with it.
