I bought these swim trunks for my wife to add some color to her swimwear collection. They do the spade trick! The color is so bright! They're bold without being overly flashy, and they balance a pair of their swim tops very well. The boy's short haircut gives her full butt coverage, which she loves. In these shorts she has no chance to look her in the cheek or to communicate. She's 5'4", weighs 140 pounds and Medium in the Red (nearly coral red, not fire engine red) suits her perfectly. She feels so comfortable in it and the color holds up well. There is a full liner so you don't have to worry about seeing through those bottoms. My wife also loves shorts that have side ties so she can adjust the inseam of the shorts. You have it and she can customize whatever she wants. However, the side ties might be too long, I can cut them off and re-tie the knots at the ends. These swim trunks are fantastic and I am very impressed with their material, construction and colour. The fit is great and really flattering while still providing coverage.
