I bought blue and red, both are large. I'm heavy so the shirts are a little tight in the chest when buttoned up but otherwise they fit well. I don't think they will break if they are fully closed. The pants are good, they are fairly light and loose where they should be for breathability. The build quality is bad. When I took the shirts and trousers out of the packaging before washing and using them, there were scattered fibers on both the inside and outside. I will continue to use them as I love the look and feel. My last pair of nightwear was mostly worn in tatters for years, so I can deal with that. But if you are in the habit of pulling on the threads then I don't think they will last very long because there are a lot of loose threads.
