Review on Prismacolor 3722 Premier Double-Ended Art ๐ŸŽจ Markers Review - Fine and Chisel Tip, 72-Count by Tamara Simpson

Great markers! Uneven color distribution.

I received these markers on Saturday and checked them all one by one, as soon as I received them none were dry! These markers work great and leave vibrant colors behind. I haven't tried blending as my job doesn't require much, so I can't comment on that. However, there is only one thing that disappointed me a little bit about this product. amount of each color. Need more of the most commonly used colors! The distribution is very, very uneven. I had about 12 blues, 6 oranges, 9 yellows and 3 reds?! Not only that, when testing "reds" only one of them was actually red! (And also a very dark shade of red). The other 2 were more orange than anything, despite being labeled 'red'. So if I want a bright red, I have to use a highlighter instead. Skin tone colors are also missing, out of 6 or so that outwardly they look like they can work with skin tones, actually only 2. The rest was too pink or too orange. And of the two, one had a pale, vampire-like skin tone, the other was dark. And since I draw a lot of people and characters with different skin tones, this part disappointed me the most. That's where my complaints end though, everything else about these felt tip pens is excellent and I can always buy a few separately if I need them. ! However, note that 72 is far from a complete set and you will most likely need to purchase multiple colors individually to get the full range of colors that suits you!

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Too boring
