Let's get the good stuff out of the way. They look beautiful, darken beautifully, are easy to install and work well when they work. when they work. Too bad. We had about 12 of these when our house was built. We had to call an electrician to replace blown bulbs about 6 times and myself 2 times. The numbers include the substitution of some substitutions. To be honest I've lost count. Now that several years have passed, we must push them further. So I had to start replacing them when they fail. I would move to another similar unit but wanted to leave it or rip them all out. The game is that the "good guys" seem to function and serve as they should. The "bad ones," which we consider about 40% likely, will start behaving in a few months or a year. The light takes a few extra seconds to turn on over time, takes longer to turn on, and then never lights up again. For now I keep buying them and hope to have 12 good ones. Stable for the most part at the moment but another crash just happened which is about 4 years old which makes me question my strategy. If you're just starting out, unless you like gaming unnecessarily, look elsewhere.
