Bought 4 sets of Mkono 3-tier 17-inch floating wall shelves to replace single floating shelves in the hair salon. Previous shelves were laminated MDF and non-reinforced keyhole brackets break under the weight of hair tools. The Mkono shelves, on the other hand, have metal brackets with THREE mounting points each. Also, since they are metal, I don't have to worry about the mounting points breaking. The installation was easy, just drive 6 screws into the wall .Supplied with wall anchors for drywall, paneling and concrete Shelves attach to the brackets from below, with 4 screws per shelf (2 on each side) Slightly thinner than brackets so you'll need them that far mount to the front as possible and stretch the rear wiring. I installed two sets in 10 minutes. One thing that took a little more time was What I did was make sure the holes for the brackets were all sealed and that the holes were horizontally parallel. Thing is, it probably wasn't really necessary. Nothing is done about particularly tight tolerances between brackets and shelves. Truly rustic shelves are neither flat nor square. The brackets aren't exactly the same either. Overall though, it fits the overall boho vibe of the device. At $24 (and including next-day Prime), the Mkono shelves are firmly in the "good quality" territory. They are strong and durable enough for everyday hair use and look good enough for the rest of the decor. I might want something better for the house if it was on budget. However, if you have $24 to spend, these shelves should suit you. recommended
