So let's be honest this is a great sturdy fabric basket which I was so happy to receive in the mail today but the size given in the description is very different and it doesn't fit on a shelf. the device I bought it for! I suggest Amazon to change the description so this doesn't happen to anyone. The description says it's about 10.5 inches tall, but it measures over 11.

I searched for 3 days to find a place to store the bricks that would fit in a shelving system I built myself for home schooling.
