Review on 🐾 ThunderEase Multicat Calming Pheromone Diffuser Kit, Powered by FELIWAY: Minimize Cat Conflict, Tension, and Fighting by Christie Santos

This is supposed to be a good product, has some good reviews and is intended for a family of four cats (one of whom hates the other three and is at war with one of the others ), you might think that would work. That didn't happen. Most of our household sockets are multiple sockets and you need a standard wall socket to use them. We tried this in a room with no other power strips/surge protectors plugged in and within 15 minutes of plugging it into the wall the arrester began to get very hot. Due to its weight, it also fell out of the socket within two minutes of turning it on. After 15 minutes of nearly overheating and trying to unplug ourselves, we unplugged it. This MAY work in a house with "more modern" sockets (our house is quite old), but I would use them with extreme caution. If the product overheats that quickly, you can't plug it into a power strip or surge protector, and it's heavy enough to unplug itself, I wouldn't use it unless there was absolutely no other way out.
