I needed a unique way for friends to quickly find my car in a huge crowd, so this light worked perfectly. I figured the red and blue might cause problems with the simulated 911 car and the yellow light mixes with construction and warning signs at events so I bought a green light and it was perfect for my use. It has many different flash and strobe settings and the LEDs are very bright. Friends tell me they can see my car's neon green flashing light more than a quarter mile from the venue. As I drove through the airport's underground boarding area, I turned on the light and it literally illuminated the entire lower deck of the airport with a bright green light reflecting off the concrete walls. I plugged it into the car cigarette lighter and routed the cable through the sunroof and it worked great. I haven't driven fast with the skylight on, but the magnets seem pretty strong and can probably handle normal driving. A good choice when you need a super bright light for your car.
