For the price, it's hard to beat.

I bought this amp mainly because I wanted something very cheap to test out the configuration, but I can just keep it instead of buying a more expensive amp. I recently moved into a house with speakers hanging from the ceiling in many rooms and cables terminating in a network panel in the basement. The previous owner didn't leave any of his expensive audio equipment (several Sonos amps) behind, so he tried to find a way to use all those speakers without going broke. I found a used AVR that could handle multiple zones, but the zone output had preamp signals. I installed the AVR in a theater room and ran a zone 2 RCA cable from my AVR to my network panel. So I hooked up this amp. I ran some speaker wire from this amp to my network panel which distributes the audio signal to 4 different rooms. It works great. I can set the preamp on my AVR and have to set it pretty high to get good volume out of the AK-698BT, but I get good, clean sound in any room. The house is connected to the volume controls on the walls in each room, so I turn the amp up to 75%, which gives me more than I want when I crank up the volume in the room. I don't expect audiophile quality, but it sounds pretty good to me, and the fact that it can drive 4 pairs of speakers at the same time is just outstanding. They all ran for several hours last night and the amp didn't seem to get hot. Connecting BT was pretty easy,
