The sun shade is terrific.

I have bought 5 of these now, and am happy with all of them. Although this last order wasn’t great because I ordered a 12x16 and was delivered a 10x16. It didn’t come in a bag like the others so really no way to know the size until I unfold and put it up. Adjustable anchors, fabric stretch and some elbow grease made it fit where I wanted. I didn’t want to take it down, fold it and send it back after that process. Next time I’ll measure before it goes up if I don’t see a size with the product…

Pros
  • Love these I’ve gotten four of them work great for shading my pond in the summer time
Cons
  • May require extra hardware for installation

The 1st one I ordered came in a nice plastic bag with all attachments. The bag is great for storage. Was easy to put up and it's held up wonderfully, going into its 3rd year. I wanted to add to the shade where a tree had fallen. The newest one came in a plain old box with a single 2 foot sisal rope. Nothing else. Re-ordered thinking it was missing hardware. Next one came same as the previous order. So things have changed with the product. Reading the fine print, it does not say hardware is…

Pros
  • Post Mount
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with open flames or barbecues

Attractive and Useful

I use this sail shade to shade and thereby cool a large portion of my back porch area. It is also very attractive and adds beauty to the area.Although it is very strong in most high winds, recently during hurricane force winds it failed and although fixable I elected to install a brand new sail shade, and I gave my other fixable shade to a friend. I did have to install two 4x4 wooden posts in concrete to secure portions of the sail shade.I enjoy watching the sail shade move in the wind and am…

Pros
  • This works well.
Cons
  • May not be sturdy enough to handle roughhousing or outdoor sports

Great Looking Shade Sail

I purchased this sun shade over 18 months ago and it still looks brand new. I installed it over my patio seating area and it is up 24/7. It provides shade, but it is not waterproof. It is porous and lets rain through. But I didn’t buy it to stop the rain. I bought it to provide shade, and that it does! I would definitely recommend this product as it has lasted a long time in this Florida weather.

Pros
  • Easy and hassle-free installation process, requiring only basic tools and minimal space
Cons
  • Not suitable for use in areas with high winds or tornadoes

You get what you pay for

When I opened the box, this one wasn't in a bag like another one I bought. But when I unfolded it, I noticed how crappy the stitching was. Threads hanging, unfinished, crooked seams, cheap. Anyway, who cares, it's going to hang outside in sun, wind and rain, and if we like how they work, we'll purchase better quality ones in a year or two after these disintegrate. So, even after you measure an area because you have lots of places to secure this, don't get excited that it'll go up well. I have…

Pros
  • Rectangular
Cons
  • Not suitable for use near water sources

stretches when wet constant adjusting

overall it seems to be a good product for shade but if it gets wet in light rain it stretches forcing me to tighten the cables more. I have stretched this tight and yet once wet it sags again. Not a very good product and rope is a waste of time, you need to use cables. I DON'T RECOMMEND BUYING THIS UNLESS YOU LIVE SOMEWHERE IT DOESN'T RAIN AT ALL

Pros
  • Patio Furniture & Accessories
Cons
  • Terra color may not be suitable for areas with red dirt or sand

The color is brown, not red

I returned this product because of the color. I have nothing bad to say about it as I never installed it. I just thought the public might want to know before purchasing that it is not bright red but more of a rust color.

Pros
  • Polyethylene
Cons
  • Can create a glare from the sun on surrounding surfaces

Nice way to create a shady space.

I have a small space on the side of my house that needed shade and this sunshade was perfect to for it. I used two 2x2 to create taller post on my fence to attach one side to, and the other side is attached to my house trim. I'm hoping the wrinkles will release in a few days. The interior part is stretchy but the seamed trim is not so I didn't want to pull it tight. Great for the price. Not I feel like I need a nicer patio set.

Pros
  • 4.05 pounds
Cons
  • Terra color may not match all types of wood finishes

These tarps are NOT square, they have a tab that extends out.

The tab that extends out on each corner with the tie strap, is far beyond the straight-ish edge that's what their measurements use for size. So, the piece of cloth providing shade to your area is more than a foot shorter on each side than the listing states. We made it work for our purposes, but if you are trying to cover a patio of a specific size, I'd order up to the next larger size. It's very deceiving on their part. I will update with how it wears over time.

Pros
  • Provides ample shade and sun protection, making it ideal for relaxation, outdoor dining, and gardening activities
Cons
  • Terra color may not match all types of outdoor cushions or umbrellas

Great Investment - my new review

If installed correctly, and allowed plenty of room to stretch this is a very affordable option to having other canopies or covers installed. Provides lots of great shade to our backyard patio.

Pros
  • Good product easy to install nice and sturdy
Cons
  • May not fit all outdoor spaces

Worked out great best in my review

Got this over the summer to shade my porch. Works out great and keeps it cooler for sure. Had to adjust it after about a month once it stretched but was easy enough to do.

Pros
  • All 3 were great. Excellent product
Cons
  • Can create a pocket of heat underneath, making it an uncomfortable place to sit

Great patio addition to our seating area

Our patio gets a lot of direct sun and was very hot! This has made our seating area much more comfortable to use AND it nicely defines the area! I do wish it was more water repellent/ proof.

Pros
  • This is so heavy that we could not get it up, so we had to return it.
Cons
  • Can stretch and sag over time

These work great with trigger clamps.

I bought 2 of these for shade for a party at my house. Much cheaper than buying those canopies with frames, and easier to store if you want to take the down. I was able to easily attach them to a concrete block wall and the eves of the house using Dewalt trigger clamps which you can buy a set of 4 for about $35 at Home Depot. I used 2 sets (8 clamps) for 2 shade sails. The rope that comes with them wasn't much good. I used paracord instead.

Pros
  • Comes in a range of different sizes and colors to suit your individual needs and preferences
Cons
  • Can become discolored from exposure to tree sap or bird droppings

Shade at a very reasonable price

I got this to provide shade over a slab where I park my car. Very easy to install and used one of the hardware kits to attach to my 4x4 posts. Found that the material will stretch initially and had to tighten it several times until it seemed to remain high enough to keep from drooping onto my car. However, when it rains and gets wet it will droop somewhat until it dries out. After 9 months of use, I came home one day to find one corner had given way. The material inserted into the corner that…

Pros
  • Easy to Use - Attach the shade sail D-rings to your structure with the included ropes. Four 5-feet ropes and an instruction sheet come in the package. Measurement is taken from D ring to D ring, Leave an 1.5-2 ft space between the fixing point and the shade sail to fit hardware or rope.
Cons
  • Terra color may fade over time in direct sunlight

Works well: my feedback

Easy enough for install. Incredible for shade. Only issue is the dirt build up from rain. It acts like a sieve which is great for blocking dirt in the pool but not aesthetically pleasing. Most likely fixed with a non beige color or pulling at a tighter angle.

Pros
  • 8 x 12 x 0.5 inches
Cons
  • May not be sturdy enough to handle large gatherings or parties

Provides exactly what I needed: SHADE I can create by myself

I have a small back yard patio with a small pergola against the house, and during the summer when my patio garden is finally starting to look nice, I enjoy sitting out there admiring how hearty the plants are and how effective a generous plant food schedule is in making the flowers bloom and the greenery get bushy and fill in. My problem, however, is that I had more than one vampire in the family tree, because any time I am in the sun for more than ten minutes, I start to turn red like a…

Ripped after a few months

I honestly love this shade, but end ripped and now I'm trying to figure out how to use it without replacing it. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • This is nice and easy to install.
Cons
  • Could create a tripping hazard if not installed properly

Good shade on my review.

We really like this sunshade. The ropes that come with it are thin, so we bought new rope but I would buy this again May not provide enough protection from wind, dust, or pollen!

Pros
  • Shade Sails
Cons
  • May not provide enough protection from wind, dust, or pollen

Best thing ! in my review

This is the best thing I have purchased! Our deck is total sun! The coverage was amazing! Thank you this protected my grandbabies from the sun! Absolutely love this product! My neighbor once she saw mine brought one also!

Pros
  • Bought this used, but it was in great shape. Works really well for the purpose I needed - patio shade.
Cons
  • Might not be durable enough for harsh outdoor environments

Just what we needed

The matetial is exactly what I was looking for. In New Mexico the sun will destroy just about everything outside, but this material holds up very well. Not totally waterproof but we bought for sun protection. Only bad part is there is no opening to add wire or rope between ends for additional strength, but qe found a work for this too.

Pros
  • Umbrellas & Shade
Cons
  • Can trap moisture underneath, leading to mold or mildew growth
