I got this to provide shade over a slab where I park my car. Very easy to install and used one of the hardware kits to attach to my 4x4 posts. Found that the material will stretch initially and had to tighten it several times until it seemed to remain high enough to keep from drooping onto my car. However, when it rains and gets wet it will droop somewhat until it dries out.After 9 months of use, I came home one day to find one corner had given way. The material inserted into the corner that holds the D-ring had given way. Don't know if this was a defect on that corner or whether its just a matter of time until the other corners give way. In any case, I bought a grommet kit which I used to punch a hole in the corner where the seams come together and installed a 1/2" grommet to repair it. Just hope that fix holds up over time. It seems like a grommet would have been a better option for the corners, but I didn't find any other brands that use grommets. The failed corner is the only reason I took a star off, otherwise very happy with the purchase.
