Love this set and plan to buy more! This is perfect for me! I love going to the nail salon but after a while it can add up ($) and my nails were sooooo thin from constantly filing with tools. I've used this 2 times so far and my nails are still strong after removing them! There are some things people should know: - They should have time to work on it. Covering and dipping doesn't take long, but just like in the salon, the powder sets unevenly, leaving bumps or bumps on the nails. It takes a little time to file them so that the nail is even. I did it with Walmart's powerful nail files, so it's 100% possible, it just takes time. Removal is more difficult without tools that will grind them. They just slip out when I try to remove them that way, but your nail's layers come loose with it. So I think they will damage your nails if you remove them this way, but that's the wrong way to remove them, so I don't blame the product for that - it's my fault. - I had chipped nails in the first week both times BUT I don't think it was the product. I'm still learning to apply. That's not what you need if you're looking for a quick alternative to the salon. If you want them to look pretty, you'll need time to make them (maybe 30 minutes?). But if you're like me, nail polish takes about the same amount of time to apply and dry. So for me the best switch. They last a lot longer than nail polish and I personally like them better than gel because of their tough look - helps protect my nails from bending or breaking when I'm trying to grow them out. I love them and will definitely be buying more sets. If you have the patience to learn the process and the time to take and make it, you will love it! Pictured is my second attempt. My cuticles look awful but that was right after I did them. They recovered within a day or two.
