These roles are big! Almost too big for my fine, slightly curly hair almost down to the middle of my back as it leaves little to no frizz. However, they add volume to my hair, which is what I was looking for. They are very convenient as they do not require clips or pins but stay in place. I used all 12 curlers (6 pink, 6 purple for some reason, all the same size) 3 times on very wet, wet and almost dry hair. It's difficult to get a smooth roll from the tips to the roots, and instead wrapping the hair seems to cause a little more mess when it's removed. I'm still trying to find a "pattern" that fits my style, but I find these videos very versatile. I leave them in place when I apply my makeup, then run the blow dryer on high heat for a minute and then let them cool before removing. All in all, if you are looking for a small body and no frizz, this is for you. I won't be using them every day and will again use a round brush to dry my hair for a smoother finish. I haven't combined drying with a round brush followed by rollers, so I'll update if I find better results.
