I recently noticed that my mother-in-law's diamond earrings were missing. She mentioned that she lost her back so she couldn't carry them. I thought I'd help her out and order these 4 packs of 18k gold plated lock. Seems well done. They are like small round discs with compression points on each side that you need to hold in place to insert the earring shank. The pad then snaps around the bar and the pad is securely fastened. You need to make sure you have at least 1 notch in your post so support has something to hold on to. Otherwise, I think they can slip off when you pull or tug the shirt over your head. So far they seem to be working fine. I returned my mil 2 and kept 2 for myself. They don't irritate her skin, so that's a big plus. If we need more, I will buy again. They come in a nice plastic box that shows them off well.
