The best thing about upcounsel was that they had many lawyers available at any given time - both in-house counsel as well as outside general council/associates with their own practices. I have been able to find someone who can take my case without having to spend weeks or months trying different firms until finding one willing to represent me. I know it isn't easy but this will be something you need to do if your looking into suing somebody like what i am doing (i think). It's also good because its free! You just pay 1% of whatever amount we settle out of court and thats all you owe them nothing more than that fee. There are some things though such as filing fees which vary depending where u live so make sure you know exactly how much those are before going ahead since most states charge differently from each other even within say NY vs MA etc. I have used UpCounsel to hire a lawyer for a small business matter. The lawyers were quick to respond and very professional. I like that UpCounsel has a lot of lawyers in the marketplace, so you can find one that is right for you. I am very happy with my experience with UpCounsel. I have used them for a small business matter and they have been great. I am very happy with the end result.
