Based on all the other reviews it runs small and to order a size up I have - and this was a mistake. I have a solid 34" waist and I usually buy 36" straps but based on reviews I bought the 38" straps which for me are big enough to go through all the holes and not leave a single snag when they are wrapped around my waist. But it's also a very "cheap" belt, almost like plastic or something, which I didn't pay attention to. If the only issue was the size I would exchange it for the size I usually buy but after seeing the poor quality of this belt I decided to just return it for a refund and look for something else. It may have been resized after all the other feedback about the sizing issue, but like I said, the 38" belt is huge for a 34" waist.
