    Not 100% leather - and inferior "extra "

    As other reviewers point out, this belt is advertised as "100% leather". It is not. The back of the belt may actually be leather, but the front of the belt appears to be a thin layer of plastic over padding. The strap has some tears through the plastic. The plastic around the belt holes broke and pieces fell off meaning the belt now looks awful. I will not buy from this seller again. My recommendation: do not buy this belt.

    I bought it as a gift and had to return it for another one. You were right, it runs a lot smaller so please go two sizes up. Would love to read the comments before ordering. But good belt.

    Poor quality leather

    In less than a year it started cracking. I even treated it with leather conditioner. It still holds my pants, but heck, I have a $10 Walmart belt that holds up better than this one. Shame on Florsheim.

    Garbage. Flörsheim used to stand for quality. Unfortunately, like many other good names of yesteryear, they have resorted to importing the cheapest products for profit. As other reviewers have pointed out, it's ridiculously stiff, cracked, and went in the trash after a year of accidental use. Florsheim, you have lost a 30-year-old loyal customer.

    The belt is just perfect for my taste

    The belt is just right for my taste: I don't like belts that are too long. This one is an inch longer than my 32 inch gap belt. So, I think it works with a small size. Compared to what I have from Timberland that I wear on the third hole, I wear this hip belt on the second hole. It's made in China but well made and doesn't burn like other brands' belts from what I've read in other posts.

    Good belt my pros and cons

    I liked the first one I bought almost 3 years ago so I bought another one. It would probably take over 3 years but as a retired cop I carry a .45 in my belt everyday which puts some strain on the belt. The first never broke, just wanted to be sure.

    False advertising and terrible quality

    What a terrible product, I bought 2 pairs, one for me and one for my dad, in both cases the only difference was the size. My dad used his every day, they lasted less than 4 months (both!). I used mine 3 or 4 days a week and they only lasted 5.5 months, 4 straps in that time, are you kidding me? Ah, and of course it's not 100% leather either! once they start tearing you realize what an expensive piece of crap, seriously, stay away!.

    The quality is really good but the size is not very good.

    My first eBay review. I'm a size 32 so I ordered a size 34 to have a bit more length as I don't like very short straps. In particular, when putting on a belt, for a size 32, I use a hole before the last. So when ordering your size, use the very last hole on the belt.

    100% NO LEATHER as advertised, can I replace it?

    Worst belt I've ever used. 100% NO LEATHER but looks like leather on arrival. I bought 3 for myself and my brothers and they all fell apart (broken, torn, see attached photo) after 3 months of infrequent use. Do I need a replacement because the product is not 100% leather as advertised?

    Much shorter than other belts of the same size that I have. Of the 5 other belts I have (all the same marked size) this is the shortest. In some cases 1-2 inches shorter than other belts. I had to return it.
