I bought 12 of these kitchen towels 10 or 11 years ago. I'm just swapping them out now. I don't know of any other kitchen towel that has ever lasted as long. But the best thing is that I can use the old ones for the dirty housework. These kitchen towels are thick, highly absorbent, easy to use and stain resistant yet gentle on the finest crystal, china etc. They are machine washable but never tumble dry - always air dry. They can be bleached to disinfect and microwaved for 60 seconds. They are made from 70% cellulose and 30% cotton and are fully biodegradable. The initial investment for kitchen towels may seem expensive, but they last almost forever, so they're worth every penny. Be sure to buy original Swedish kitchen towels. A lot of them call themselves that, but they definitely aren't. This brand is the best!
